On our first conversation I will need the rough size of wall area to be painted , ideally
if you have an idea or better still some images to email me that would be great …
with pinterest & Instagram and various other apps there’s an endless supply of
images …sometimes just to much to choose from!.
I will visit your home or commercial premises to see the areas to be painted &
measure up…we can then exchange ideas and I can also show you my recent
projects that will be relevant to your theme, I do not charge for this consultation.
Once we have agreed on design /theme I can then give you a no obligation quote.
I will send you a sketch of proposed design …and in most cases I just sketch directly
on the wall without the need for a preliminary drawing & then ask you for your
approval before I actually start painting , some clients prefer to see the sketch
before…and others are just happy for me to have full artistic licence to just go for
it…and be creative…this is normally the case.
Once we agree on price I can book this in my diary…I do not usually take a
deposit…however on a large project I may ask for a deposit…but generally I say pay
at the end when you are completely happy…all quotes include materials etc.
On arrival I will cover all carpets/floorings with dust sheets/including some furniture (
if left in room).
All paints are quality Dulux & Leyland emulsions and various Acrylics – these are all
fast drying & non toxic plus low odour, I can mix any colour to match an existing
colour scheme.
In certain cases an Acrylic varnish can be used to protect the mural , this is the case
in high traffic areas such as commercial nurseries/hospitals/ hallways.
I am fully insured Public liability.
I have painted so many murals…each one totally bespoke to the client…some are
small some are large and some are massive…but all serve their purpose in changing
our environment at very little cost…can you imagine a world of interiors just of
magnolia!.
